Spark Good Product Donations

We’re honored to support our communities with product donations in times of need. Our Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs receive hundreds of requests a year for donations of food, clothing and general merchandise. We always want to help when we can.

Organizations may request one-time product donations at their local Walmart or Sam’s Club facility. The decision to donate or not lies with the management of each facility, and store and club leaders review product donation requests on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to one-time donations, Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities donate fruit, veggies, dairy, meats and other food products year-round to Feeding America’s network of food banks across the U.S. Local organizations interested in participating must be affiliated with the Feeding America network. Find your local Feeding America food bank here.

Spark Good Registry for Nonprofits

Like a wedding or a baby registry, the Spark Good Registry allows verified nonprofits to create lists of needed products, including gift cards, and to share those lists with their donors. Walmart ships items purchased through a nonprofit’s registry directly to the nonprofit reducing friction from setting up collection sites and retrieving donations. Nonprofits can create virtual events, like a coat or canned-food drive, and share the registry through their social media channels or donor newsletters.

To get started, follow these steps:

  • STEP 1: Become a FrontDoor verified nonprofit by clicking this link.
  • STEP 2: Create a Walmart.com account and log in to walmart.com/nonprofits to create a registry.
  • STEP 3: Review the FAQs or the How-to Guide for creating a Spark Good Registry.
  • STEP 4: Promote your registry to your supporters through email or on social media. Check out the Spark Good promotional tools and tips to get started.
